Terms of Service
Last updated: June 16, 2026
By using DearTomorrowMe you agree to these terms. They are written in plain language because we believe you deserve to understand what you're agreeing to.
What DearTomorrowMe is
DearTomorrowMe is a service that lets you write a message to your future self or someone else, seal it, and have it delivered on a date you choose. It is not a medical service, not a crisis intervention service, and not a substitute for professional mental health support.
If you are in immediate danger, please contact a crisis line. We have a link to crisis resources on every page.
Your account
You must be 13 or older to use DearTomorrowMe. By creating an account you confirm this.
You are responsible for keeping your account secure. Do not share your password. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at support@deartomorrowme.com.
Your messages
You own the content of your messages. By writing a message you give us permission to store it and deliver it on your behalf on the date you chose. We do not claim any ownership over what you write.
You agree not to use DearTomorrowMe to send content that is illegal, harassing, or intended to harm others. We reserve the right to remove accounts that violate this.
Delivery
We make every effort to deliver your message on the date you chose. However, we cannot guarantee delivery in all circumstances. Events outside our control — including but not limited to email provider failures, internet outages, or force majeure events — may prevent or delay delivery.
If a delivery failure is caused by DearTomorrowMe or one of our third-party service providers, you are entitled to a refund. See our Refund Policy for details.
If a delivery fails because the recipient email no longer exists or has blocked delivery, we are not liable. We recommend keeping your backup email up to date.
Payments
The free plan allows one message with no video, backup, or next of kin email. The paid plan is a one-time payment of $10 and unlocks unlimited messages, video, backup email, and next of kin email.
All payments are final unless covered by our Refund Policy. We do not offer refunds for change of mind.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time from your profile settings. On deletion, your personal data and message content are permanently removed within 30 days. Scheduled messages that have not yet been delivered will be cancelled.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Limitation of liability
DearTomorrowMe is provided as-is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email. Your continued use of DearTomorrowMe after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
